Dental Sedation

Although most periodontal and implant procedures can be performed under local anaesthetic, some patients prefer to have their procedures done under sedation. At Davisvillle Periodontics, we offer two different options to choose from:

• Oral sedation (sleeping pills)

Your safety is our priority and we strive to provide comfortable treatment to you. Please feel free to discuss sedation options at your consultation.

Our entire staff participates in annual re-certification of standard first aid, CPR, and automated external defibrillator (AED) training.

Please note that for conscious sedation, you must not eat or drink for eight hours prior to your appointment. A responsible adult must also accompany you to the office, drive you home, and stay with you until you have recovered
