What to expect

  • A thorough review of your medical and dental health history.
  • An evaluation of your oral cavity & conditions.
  • An explanation of your condition diagnosed.
  • Explaining various treatment options.
  • An oral cancer screen.

What to bring

  • Your referral slip (if available) and any recent x-rays (less than one year old) if necessary
  • A list of medications (including dosages) you are currently taking
  • If you have dental insurance, bring the necessary information (insurance company name, policy, and identification number)

X-rays may be required for your first appointment to help properly diagnosis your condition. Current x-rays are essential and a standard if care for the detection of decay, periodontal bone loss, tumors, cysts, and even tartar. If your dentist has x-rays on file, you may request that they be forwarded to our office, or bring them with you to your first appointment. If additional x-rays are required, they will be taken in our office and copies will be forwarded to your dentist, along with a progress report for their records.
All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
